About Me

I've always had a passion for storytelling, but it was during Lockdown that I decided to 'put pen to paper' and write down some of the stories that had been floating around in my head. My two boys have been the perfect guinea pigs to test my work on - as many people know, children can be wonderfully, brutally honest! My boys' vivid imaginations and their love of 'the pretend' have greatly encouraged me to create stories that are engaging and memorable for young children.

In my life outside of motherhood and writing, I enjoy doing voiceover work and consultancy for the children's television brand 'The Numberjacks', as well as some private tuition in English Literature and Language - it's safe to say that I love working with words and young people!
